Cargo handling in the Baltic Eastern Coast Seaports increased by 5.6% in January-December

Throughout the January-December 2012 period, the overall cargo handling in the Baltic Eastern Coast Seaports totalled 353 303,4 thou. tn; the year-on-year change is +5,6% or +18 653,7 thou. tn. Basic cargo categories that were crucial to this growth were as follows: crude oil (+11 340,1 thou. tn yoy), coal (+4 456,0 thou. tn yoy) and containerised cargoes (+2 100,6 thou. tn yoy), reports BC Klaipeda port’s press service.
