Viking Line moves a ship under Estonian flag

The management of the Scandinavian shipping company Viking Line has decided to bring the M/S Viking XPRS ship that sails on the Tallinn-Helsinki route under the Estonian flag, which brings jobs of 230 Swedes to Estonians, Äripäev.ee/LETA reports.

The M/S Rosella ship hat sails between Aland and Kapelskär, Sweden, will be transferred from Swedish to Finnish flag, writes Helsingin Sanomat.

The changes are caused by the wage level and other economic reasons, partly probably also because of strengthening of the Swedish crown towards the euro.
