the definition scope of this ban, will be returned to/discharged at the respective
transshipment port, awaiting your instructions.
Affected
containers that have already been returned full to the respective loading
terminal shall not be loaded to the scheduled vessel but remain at the terminal
awaiting your further instruction.

Maersk on Russian Import Ban
On August 7th, 2014, the Russian Government announced
an import ban to certain commodities from EU, Norway, US, Canada and Australia
with immediate effect.
We are investigating the full implication of the ban,
and will advise further details when known, but recommend all our customers to
investigate the details on this import ban and check very carefully what cargo
can be shipped to Russia.
At present we are unable to accept any new bookings of
banned commodities for Russia.
Banned cargo presently en route to Russia will be returned and all costs
arising will be for the shipper’s account, including local costs and freight.
Maersk Line will do all possible to assist with the return of any such cargo.
Team Lines on Russian Ban
As you will have learnt through the media, the Russian
government has imposed sanctions on certain goods originating from certain
countries. In turn, certain countries may impose sanctions on Russian goods.
Considering these developments, the import and export
of goods into and/or out of Russia need to be monitored carefully.
We therefore respectfully recommend that you would
adequately inform your good selves and closely follow-up on these developments
and the corresponding rules and regulations so as to avoid the shipment of
sanctioned cargoes into and/or out of the Russian Federation. It might be
useful for you to liaise with your underwriters in order to ensure that you
maintain insurance cover.
Should you have any further questions or require any
further information, please contact our dedicated sales or customer service at
your local Team Lines office.
You will understand that TEAM LINES as carrier cannot but reserve all of
its rights pursuant to the terms and conditions of its Sea Waybill resp. Bills
of Lading in the event that any sanctioned cargoes would nevertheless be
presented for carriage.

/ SeaNews / Рейтинг: 21
We refer to the resolution of the Russian Government
of August 7th 2014 announcing an import ban to Russia of certain products.
Unifeeder remains committed to serving our customers
in this trade to the best of our ability. We will, however, have to monitor the
situation very carefully and adapt our capacity and sailing frequencies to
match the situation as it develops.
On an immediate basis we must ask all customers to investigate and check very
carefully what cargo can be imported to Russia. Unifeeder will continue to
accept all cargo presented for loading on the basis that the customer is fully
responsible for what cargo can be imported into Russia.
In the event that any cargo is rejected on arrival and
has to be returned, the customer will be asked to handle all local arrangements
for such cargo and to assume all associated costs. Unifeeder will do all
possible to assist with the return of any such cargo, (including back loading
on the same vessel if possible) but any additional costs for returning cargo
will be for customer’s account including freight and local charges.
We will issue further updates as we gain a better understanding of the
situation.
